My back right wheel locks up while backing up, any suggestions on what the problem is or a possible fix?

I have a 1993 Cadillac DeVille. All the wheels seem to work fine while in drive, but while in reverse the back right wheel locks up. Two things have happened recently that could be the source of the problem. First, we just had a flood in the parking lot two days ago, so maybe rust? Second, we just had that tire replaced and the rim fixed (the rim was bent up and Rent N Roll bent it back with a lead hammer). I'm hoping there's a cheap way to fix this but I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up having to take it to the shop. I called a shop and they said it might free up with a tow. I called Rent N Roll and they said they don't see how what they did could have anything to do with it.

What highschool group is this?

Just keep doing it. Go to sessions at lunch and after school to get one-to-one help. I know it seems dull but believe me, you get much more done when you're on your own. Ask your teacher to help you specifically with everything you have supposedly done wrong and before you know it, you will have finished. It is worth it because you can get up to 4 GCSEs in ICT.

Bicycle rear brake problems?

Hey guys, I would like to begin this by stating that I don't know bicycle terms very well, so if I'm using the wrong terms, please bare with me. Okay so I have a crappy mongoose mountain bike. Me and my friends found a trail to go riding at. The trail has alot of twists and turns, and most of the path is covered with pine-straw, which brings along problems for me. Because I didn't have back brakes, I couldn't take sharp turns very fast. I was having to use front brakes, which was very dificult because on pine-straw, the front wheel doesn't even have to lock up to lose traction. Thats why I need my back brake. The brake hasn't been working for a few months now, but it was never really that necessary up until about now. I don't want to take it to a bike shop. I believe the problem is that the brake line doesn't have enough tension, so I tried to fix that. On the rear brake, I pulled the brake line very tight, but that caused both of the brake pads to press up against the wheels. So I loostened them a little bit, and I lightly pulled the brake lever, and it still had a good bit of tension, and the brake pads were not touching. So I took it for a little stroll, but after one or two times of about 50% braking, the line lost a little bit of tension. It was certainly better than before, but not enough to really help me on the trail. So I tightened a screw that was on the rear brake lever, and it pushed the lever outward, creating more tension. Again it still wasn't enough tension. Is there anything else I can do? The screw on the handle bars is as tight as I can get it, and I pulled the line out at the rear brake as much as possible with out the pads touching the rim. What do I do now?

Anyone have experience with solar attic fans? How effective are they?

I have an old house (100 years) and it has no soffit (intake) vents for the attic. I have a moisture/humidity problem in the attic that I need to resolve. Currently, I have 2 gables vents and nothing else. It was recommended by an energy auditor that I install a powered vent on the roof near the ridge and he recommended solar. Do these things have the power to move enough air? How to tell if a rim is 10ft tall?

At the park I go to there are 4 basketball courts but 2 seem higher than others people tell me the shorter one is 10 ft and the taller one is 11 ft. Return filling by your self is not difficult nor impossible but there are minute things which only an expert can take care. If you are confident you can file the ITR without any blunder then go ahead otherwise it is better to take help of some knowledgeable consultant. Small saving may prove costly in future.

And in all reality, how hard would it be for the agent to locate your friend since they already have as much info as they do. Painting Brake Calipers and Drums?

Just the caliper paint, and clean calipers and drums (or new drums, if they're close to needing changing anyway) for the best results, a primer won't work. I'd recommend paint rather than a spray can as it's far easier to get it exactly where you want it, and only where you want it. Paint them whatever colours you like, I don't see why what you're planning would look strange!

Year 8 Options Help, please?

Hi i had to chose my options early as well, i chose history, Art, a level critical thinking and catering. don't bother with catering everyone found it a waste of time. history is really good and i have never had to do any speaking in it. i love art but i enjoy drawing and things like that. i used to have self confidence issue and critical thing helped as we did allot of public speaking and it helped me with my writing. as for languages if i had the choice i would probably go for mandarin there are lots of good job on offer if you have that as not many know it. if you want to be a psychologist then you would probably need sociology. because you are taking them early like i did you can change subjects allot easier so if you don't like a subject you can just swap to another one :)

No, if you are talking about freestyle bikes, all rims are 1.75". However, be sure your fork and frame have enough clearance to fit the new, bigger tire. Generally, frames will fit 2.10-2.25, and forks fit up to 2.3.

Why is it so difficult to dunk?

Learning the movement is CRITICAL. I have very strong palming ability (palm 2 size 7 balls at once and palm off the bounce on a size 7). You need to continue practicing dunks as well as takeoff style and angle as well how you dunk. For me, I jump 2 feet so when I dunk I take 2/3 quick steps whilst dribbling and then just before takeoff squeeze the ball in both hands, jump off both feet as mentioned and at the apex of the jump I switch it to my dominant hand. The easiest place to dunk from is a small angle from the basket on your dominant side or head on with the hoop. The closer to the baseline the harder it is to dunk. You need a stronger palm it seems, work on your grip strength, I can dunk on just 6 inches below my max touch, I can BARELY touch a 10 foot rim and not hang off yet I can dunk on a 9.5 foot hoop with size 7 ball with 1 arm and a 9.25 with both arms and this is no travelling and just me and the ball no alley oops.

I have a 98 jeep wranlger sports with a small two inch left on it the tire are BF goodrich all-terrain T/A KO 235/70R16 i still have the factor rim on the jeep and would like to keep them as well i like the terrain pattern, is there any other tire with a pattern close to that but a little more aggressive look to it or larger i do not want to go to crazy with it as i do drive my jeep everyday for work just would like to beef the look up a little more on the tires, any idea or any links to a good site?

Hi, so yesterday I was bored in my French lesson so my friend Greg gave me and a few others, some of those fizzy love heart sweets with the little message in them. Should I get the a Xymox ID Pad or should I get the Ram Pad?

I already have the invader V3 and i love it!!!!! But, I looking for another drum pad to fall in love with because despite all the pros of a invader V3, I most of the time cant tell the difference between me hitting the rim and doing a rim-shot on the pad. How do I keep my puppy entertained when she's in a gated area while we aren't home?

I have a 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy and we have her gated in a small laundry room when it's bedtime or while we are away. And she gets bored and once we let her out she's extremely hyper. It looks as if she just sleeps the whole time she's penned up. Is there anything I can do or give her in that small space to keep her occupied? She's got a Kong but only licks the rim of it for a few minutes then loses interest. I know she will have lots of energy when I do finally let her out, but I don't want her to sleep all day and associate the pen with something negative. I want her to look forward to being in there when we aren't home or are asleep. It's also causing her to not want to come in after we go outside-she'll run from me when I try to get her to take her inside. So I want a way to keep her occupied while locked up as well as a way to teach her that the pen is not a bad place, but a fun one.

OK, I'm short of money so I'm buying my grandma's 96 Nissan Sentra GXE. Not a very sporty car but I thought it would be a funny car to make a sleeper out of. Just think carefully about what you do next..so if you go on to do A Levels then choose your subjects carefully - they need to be things that could help you in the future but most importantly things that you enjoy. If you do go onto A Levels then they become a fair bit more important than your GCSEs really, a part from usually maths and english if you don't do them at A Level then they will often look at your GCSEs. i have a 94 honda civic with mods and one of the mods is it has different brake calipers on it, when i put my 13 in stock wheels on they didnt fit because they were too shallow. i had to put actual rims. im trading with a 96 and were keeping our wheels which he has stock steel wheels for a 96. my calipers are bigger than the normal 92-95 civic but im not sure if they r 96. do u think his stock wheels could fit on my car?

The only problem I'm having with building my deck is the ledger. I don't have access to the the other side so I'm not sure what I should use to attach the ledger to the rim joist. Also how do i know where exactly where the rim joist is locate? Should I cut until I reach the rim joist or right before because there is also foam board insulation under the siding?
