Should I be able to see the backing of my tragus piercing?

I have my Travis pierced and when I turn my head I cant really see the back of my piercing. However all of my friends see it anyways. So if I was you I would leave it because honestly if everyone else can see it anyways there isn't really any point of letting it close over and getting it pierced again
