Lowering springs or full coilovers?

I'm looking to drop my car but can't choose. I was wondering which is better, lowering springs or full coilovers? I'm not going to go autox or drag, i just want to lower it. And which would be better and cheaper in the long run? I have a 2001 acura integra. I still have the 15 inch stock mesh rims, but going to put rims later. Probably 16 inch, and I don't want to drop it to low because I don't want it to rub fender and what not. And what brand would be good also?
