Is it good that I care about my dream (Making videogames, I'm already making them) more then school?

I know that school is neccesary but I will be in the 10th grade next semester and I don't about anything that I'm learning. Besisdes Vo-tec computer classes next year, there is nothing that can help me with my dream, all my computer classes (ICT, ICT2) didn't teach me anything. I shouldn't have any trouble because in 9th grade I didn't study any and I had all A's (and some B's). The only class I realy need to take is personal fiance and that's only in 11th grade I think.
