I'm buying a new car and want to know if my Rims will fit it.?

I had a 1999 Jetta vr6 glx 2.8 and it took a **** on me and made my life hell. Now Im going to buy a GTI 2003 1.8 turbo 4 banger. I want to know if my racing rims will fit this?? I dont know anything and need this help ASAP!! :/
